Having grown up in a tiny country town in the Mid-North of South Australia, I developed an interest in fashion in my early teen years through my love for basketball and the accessories/shoes involved. This love progressed into streetwear, developing further when I discovered Alexander McQueen's 'Horn of Plenty' show in 2009. From then the spiral began, obsessing with the designer for years to come. Having hidden my newfound passion due to the rural mindsets, I pushed aside my desire to design for years, until 2022 when I discovered Whitehouse Institute of Design. Taking the leap I moved to Melbourne in 2023 to finally pursue and haven't looked back since. Developing my skills through hours and hours of tireless work and grit, I present my graduate hero dress 'The Dame', the main character in my narrative. I hope you enjoy.
