Austro-brazilian living in London, I frequently need to remind people that we don’t have kangaroos in Austria - although I wish we had! When I was a little girl I was very shy, but my love for fashion and horses helped me gain confidence in myself, while always having fun. For me, a good outfit is like being on a horse’s back - I feel unstoppable! As a sustainability advocate and specialist, I love upcycling clothes and creating unexpected looks with my capsule wardrobe - and that is exactly what I did for this outfit. I am rocking my favorite style, which is high/low: the silk burgundy dress is luxurious, while the crochet cover-up adds the warm approachable countryside vibe! The hat - my favorite part, is a blooming flower, which represents the constant evolution to the best version of ourselves. I had a blast putting it together - thank you for this opportunity. Hopefully I can show it in person in your beautiful Melbourne Cup Festival - which is definitely a bucket list item for me!
